Shenzhen Super-curing Opto-Electronic CO., Ltd today introduces two medical UV adhesives from its 3311 series: 3311-2Z for injection needle fixing and 3311-2A for laryngeal mask bonding. Both adhesives cure quickly under UV light, and each is designed for a different bonding task in medical device assembly.
Two adhesives, two different bonding tasks
Medical device assembly often combines very different materials. A needle is metal fixed into a plastic hub, while a laryngeal mask needs soft plastic joined to soft plastic. These two jobs need adhesives with different properties, so we developed one adhesive for each.
3311-2Z: for plastic-to-metal bonding, such as injection needles
3311-2Z is a low-viscosity, high-strength adhesive for fixing injection needles. Its main features are:
- Low viscosity, with two grades available (550±100 and 1500±300 mPa.s)
- Tensile strength of 15 MPa
- Fast curing at 700 mJ/cm²
- Impact and aging resistant
- Hardness of Shore D 58 and Tg of 50℃
- Transparent, with a fluorescent option
3311-2A: for flexible plastic-to-plastic bonding, such as laryngeal masks
3311-2A is a high-strength, low-hardness adhesive for flexible plastic parts. Its main features are:
- Excellent elongation at break, which keeps the bond line flexible
- Low hardness of Shore D 40
- Tensile strength of 14 MPa
- Fast curing at only 300 mJ/cm², the lowest in the 3311 medical series
- Low viscosity of 400±100 mPa.s
- Transparent
